Panajachel, Guatemala was my home for six weeks the summer of 2007. It was a somewhat spontaneous and random trip for a few of us kids planned by my ever adventurous Father. I learned things that summer that are richer than any class or lecture or book could give me. I remember going in skeptical at the thought of leaving everything familiar behind. But only moments after our return to the states I can clearly recall a deep yearning for that incredible lifestyle. Almost two years later I was able to return with my dad on business trip for a weekend. Here are brief series of photos from our quick trip including Antigua, the road to Volcan de Picaya, my love Panajachel and other surrounding villages. I hope to one day return (with the better knowledge of photography I now have) and document this incredible country again.
