Scanography

In my Digital Photography class we are getting into camera-less photography, so for this assignment we were meant to turn in a straight scan. I thought about what object could be so captivating in one image...my result, the human figure. This was my first go at scanography, but I think I really enjoyed it. Here are my 3 different compositions. I chose the 1st as the strongest.

The Donut

I created a .gif file! It might be funny. Good thing I have friends who can lend me their bodies and souls for this kind of work.

Panograph Portraits

I learned a new skill! I am in a Digital Photography class, and to honest was quite skeptical (if you didn't know I'm more of a film/straight photo girl). But it's only been a few weeks and I am excited about what I have learned and how this will help me grow.

These images are called 'Panographs' where you take photos of the same subject in smaller amounts then join together through Photoshop to create a giant image, lowering your opacity. These Panographs used around 30 images each (more or less). Special thanks to the lovely Aubrie Smith.
